Your eyes are your window to the world, and you should be regularly checking in to promote and maintain good health, as well to prevent and treat any health problems that may arise. Conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetes can be detected early through eye examinations.
We encourage annual checkups for children as their eyes can change quickly from year to year during growth spurts. A comprehensive eye examination is covered by OHIP once a year for persons under 20 and those 65 and over.
To help facilitate our community, we are fortunate enough to have Dr. Nicholas Rempel working in office. Dr. Rempel is currently accepting new patient’s and offers appointments throughout the week as well as one Saturday per month (chosen at random).
